Michael Williams averaged 10.9 points in 91 career games for the San Francisco Dons and will have to sit out 2012-13 and have only one season of eligibility.... he was first-team All-West Coast Conference in 2010-11.
“Williams is an ultra-athletic playmaker who is very hard to guard because of his ability to pass, dribble and shoot at a high level,” said Coach Julius Hicks. “His game will draw comparisons to former Titan great Bobby Brown. We expect him to be one of the better all-around players in the Big West.”
Williams is from Van Nuys and prepped at Taft High School where he earned all-city and all-state honors in 2008-09... he was the L.A. Daily News player of the year and the MVP of the West Valley League... he made the WCC all-tournament team in 2011.
